| Best Practice Emerges from Agents Conference in Roseau |

Against the tropical green backdrop of the island of Dominica, Geest Line agents emerged from two days of conference debate with their minds set on how they can further improve their service to customers.  The regular agents' conference, held in the Fort Young hotel in Roseau, was an opportunity for agents from throughout the islands, along with UK based executives, to swap ideas on raising the level of service and improving efficiency.
Subjects debated ranged from the performance of the company to container turnaround and port efficiency, with the express aim of keeping Geest ahead of the opposition. At the end of a conference superbly organised by Jeremy Bristow and superbly orchestrated by Kira Thompson-Aird on behalf of Dominica agents HHV Whitchurch, attendees were able to return to their respective islands with plenty of opportunities to implement new ideas and best practice, which is sure to be on the agenda when the next conference is held in Grenada.
