New Branding Exercise will Benefit Customers

New logo and new look - that's the style of Geest Line going into 2009 with a subtle change of title also entering the market.

After well over five decades of being known as The Geest Line, "The" has been dropped from the title to bring a fresher, modern feel to the line. This is being accompanied by a change in the readily recognised yellow, blue and red livery that adorns the funnel of each ship.

Completing the branding update will be a new look website set to come on stream early next year. The new site is far more interactive and has greater functionality, enabling users to interrogate the data and benefit from additional features such as an electronic quote system, latest news and weather information.

Geest Line Sales Manager Jeremy Bristow explains: "This will modernise the look and feel of the brand. In particular, users of the website will be able to get more information and interaction from it, saving them time and providing them with the answers they are looking for."
